Cookie Policy
In short
DeedToGo sets only a few cookies of its own. One keeps you signed in and protects your session. Another is set only if you tick "Remember me", and keeps you signed in for up to two weeks. In our Android app, a third one tells the Service it is running inside the app. We set no advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies of our own, so there is nothing to accept or reject and we do not show a cookie banner.
The app also keeps some information in your browser: display preferences, short-lived screen state, a copy of your Pipeline so that you can open it offline, and any field photos waiting to upload. It stays on your device. Apart from queued photos, which upload when you are back online, none of it is sent to us.
Some pages load content from other companies, such as Google Fonts, Google Maps and Street View, and our network provider, Cloudflare, may set security cookies. Those companies follow their own cookie policies. You can block or delete cookies and stored data in your browser, but blocking the cookies we set will stop you from signing in.
A plain-language summary. The complete text follows below.

1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how DeedToGo ("we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies in DeedToGo at https://app.deedtogo.com (the "Service"), including the version you install on a phone or computer. Read it together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information in general.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to keep and send back with later requests. First-party cookies are set by the website you are visiting; third-party cookies, by other companies whose content appears on the page. A session cookie is deleted when you close your browser; a persistent cookie lasts until a set date or until you delete it.
This policy also covers other ways of keeping information in your browser:
- Local storage keeps small pieces of information, such as a preference, until they are deleted.
- Session storage works the same way, but is cleared when you close the tab or window.
- IndexedDB is a database inside your browser that can hold larger data, such as photos, so that an app can work offline.
- A service worker cache holds an app's own files so that it loads quickly and can open without a connection.
3. Our approach
We use only technologies that are strictly necessary to provide the Service or that remember choices you make in it. We do not use cookies or similar technologies for advertising, analytics or profiling, or to track you across other websites, and the Service contains no tracking pixels or third-party analytics tools.
Because we use only strictly necessary and functional technologies, we do not show a cookie consent banner. If we ever want to use cookies or similar technologies that are not strictly necessary or functional, such as analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before we use them.
4. Cookies we set
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| _deedtogo_session | Keeps you signed in and protects the forms you submit against forgery. It also carries one-time messages, such as confirmations, and short-lived information needed to sign in with Google, link Telegram and return you to your search results. | Until you close your browser, although some browsers keep it when they restore your last session. Separately, you are signed out after 12 hours without activity unless you chose "Remember me". | First-party, strictly necessary |
| remember_user_token | Keeps you signed in on this browser. Set only if you tick "Remember me" when you sign in with your e-mail and password. | Two weeks from the time you sign in. Signing out cancels it, on this device and on any other device where you chose to stay signed in. | First-party, functional, set only at your request |
| dtg_shell | Set only in our Android app. Tells the Service it is running inside the app, so that it hides purchase options the app does not offer. It holds no information about you. | Until you close the app. | First-party, strictly necessary, Android app only |
The session cookie is encrypted. The two sign-in cookies travel only over encrypted (HTTPS) connections, cannot be read by scripts running on the page, and are withheld from most requests that other websites start (the Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax settings). The Android app cookie also travels only over HTTPS and is withheld from requests other websites start, but the page can read it, because the app uses it while loading; it holds only the word that identifies the app. We set no other cookies. Our network provider may add security cookies of its own; see "Content from other companies" below.
5. Information stored on your device
The app keeps the following information in your browser. The technical names are listed so that you can find them in your browser's developer tools.
| Purpose | What it holds | Where and names | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Preferences | Your theme (light, dark or system); list, split or map view; whether the list follows the map; hints you have already seen; collapsed Pipeline stages and single-stage view; auction map and calendar view settings; auction searches you saved | Local storage: dtgTheme, parcels_view_toggle, r2ViewportSync, r2ViewportCoachSeen, pl.collapsed and pl.solo (one each per account), r1_view, r1_saved_searches, atlas_view, atlas_panel_v2 | Until you change them or clear your browser data |
| Screen state | Whether the launch screen has already played; whether the assistant panel is open or widened; an assistant reply still in progress; a confirmation to show after you unlock a property or add one of your own | Session storage: dtgSplashSeen, asst:open, asst:wide, asst:turn, fichaJustUnlocked, pl.addExtDone | Until you close the tab or window |
| Offline Pipeline | A copy of your Pipeline board and the property pages in it, so that you can open them without a connection, and when that copy was last checked | IndexedDB: deedtogo_pipeline_snapshot. Local storage: pf_snap_checked (one per account) | The copy is refreshed when you open your Pipeline or My Business online and deleted the next time this browser loads the Service while you are signed out, for example right after you sign out. The check time stays until you clear your browser data |
| Field photo queue | Photos you take before they upload, with their caption, category and any location you chose to attach | IndexedDB: deedtogo_field_photos | Until each photo uploads or you discard it. Signing out does not clear the queue, so unsent photos are not lost; but if a different account then uses field photos in the same browser, your unsent photos are deleted |
| App files | The offline page, the offline Pipeline page, icons, and the app's scripts, styles and fonts. It never stores pages that contain your information | Service worker cache (Cache Storage) | Until we release a new version of the app, which replaces them |
This information stays on your device. Apart from queued photos, which upload when you are back online, it is not sent to us, and we do not use it to track you. So that offline data is not removed when your device runs low on space, the app asks your browser to keep its storage persistent; some browsers ask you to allow this.
On a shared device, sign out when you finish and make sure your photos have uploaded. If you close the app without signing out, the offline copy of your Pipeline stays on the device, and someone else using it could open that copy.
6. Content from other companies
Some pages load content directly from other companies. When that happens, your browser connects to them, they receive your IP address and basic browser information, and they may set or read their own cookies. We do not control these cookies and cannot read them; each company's own policy applies.
| Company | Where it appears | More information |
|---|---|---|
| Google Fonts on every page. Google Maps and map images on the property search, Pipeline, Hot Deals and property pages. Street View, shown in an embedded Google frame on property pages. | https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies | |
| Cloudflare | Our network provider, which carries every request to the Service. It may set security cookies on our domain, such as __cf_bm, that help tell people apart from automated traffic. | https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/ |
| Stripe | Payment pages only, once online billing is available, to process payments and help prevent fraud. | https://stripe.com/privacy |
| Unsplash and Wikimedia | County photographs on market pages. | Their own privacy policies |
When you sign in with Google, or follow a link from the Service to another website such as a county auction site, that website's own cookies apply.
7. Your choices
Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies and other site data, usually under privacy or site settings. Keep in mind:
- If you block the cookies we set, you will not be able to sign in.
- Deleting our cookies signs you out.
- Clearing the site data for https://app.deedtogo.com also deletes your preferences, the offline copy of your Pipeline and any photos that have not uploaded yet. Make sure your photos have uploaded first.
- In a private or incognito window, the app may be unable to keep preferences or offline data, and whatever it keeps is deleted when you close the window.
- Uninstalling the app from your phone or computer does not always delete its stored data. To remove it, also clear the site data in your browser.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising, and we do not track you across websites, so a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track signal does not change how the Service works. We treat a GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information, as our Privacy Policy explains. Companies whose content appears on our pages decide for themselves how to respond to these signals.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this policy when we change the cookies or device storage we use, and we will change the effective date below. If a change is material, we will tell you by e-mail or with a notice in the Service no later than when it takes effect.
This policy is effective as of October 17, 2026.
For questions about this policy or about the information stored on your device, write to [email protected].
